United Utilities Metering Contract
H2O's contract with United Utilities is to install in the region of 45,000 internal and external meters to both domestic and commercial customers. In addition to this we carry our their meter maintenance work.
For this contract United Utilities requested we provide the work management system. Since commencement of the Contract our IT department have been developing Job Track Enterprise (JTE) which will be launched this autumn. This will enhance the current technology with the latest in mobile solutions and customer communications and contacts.
The metering programme includes Customer Service, arranging appointments, planning and scheduling the work to the field operatives on the ground, surveying and installation.
In addition to the meter installation and maintenance contract we provide Revenue Inspectors who investigate areas where Revenue is potentially being under recovered.
