Meter Reading
This is a three year contract with South East Water which involves reading circa 500,000 per annum with a further 48,500 special reads and 1,200 meter exchanges.
Our meter readers are home based and receive and feedback meter books via terminals at their home.
This is a re-secured contract with South East Water. The activity comprised the capture of meter reading data and downloading electronically to South East Waters billing system. Reads are downloaded daily and data checks carried out by Head Office staff for productivity, quality and reporting purposes.
Meters are located at both commercial and domestic properties with meter density varying between the Southern region (primarily rural) and Northern Region (primarily urban)
The work includes the following:
- Cyclical reads
- DG8 meter reads
- Daily check reads
- Meter exchanges
Our meter readers are experienced in identifying readings outside the expected range, investigate and report back to SEW on any faults found.
