Case Study 1
One of the largest utility companies in the UK has been running the MUBS missing domestic process over the past year. Nearly £6M of additional revenue in missing domestic properties alone has been identified. Over £4M has already been collected with £2M currently work in progress. A very low level of debt has accrued because of the ‘customer buy in’ process which focuses on getting customers to agree on the bill value.
Case Study 2
A trial of the MUBS was completed for a major water company in August 2008. The trial was so successful that the client has now requested for the trial to become a fully blown, on-going service. During the trial 90,000 non empty void properties were identified. Of the trial sample the full debt was recovered for over 80% of the properties.
