Metering
We have been working with Three Valleys Water since February 2008. The contract covers the whole Three Valleys Water region and is expected to deliver approximately 50,000 new installations each year.
TVW have recently changed their policy from internal installations to predominantly external. We are working together to drive down costs and anticipate that the Stop Tap Adaptor will support this.
The metering planning and administration team are co-located with Three Valleys Water in Rickmansworth but are expected to transfer to a new operations centre in Hatfield in 2009.
The Operations personnel run from two locations, the main one in Watford and a smaller establishment in Harlow.
As part of the service requirements we operate a number of TVW’s management systems including WIMIS and Exor. H2O have provided an interface management data base to facilitate the transfer of work to site but later this year will move to the newly developed JTE system offering mobile working solutions.
The work covers 2 main work streams, Free Meter Options and Change of Hands.
